Sedbergh Courses are back for 2022 and we are determined that the Easter and Summer courses will be bigger and better than ever before. The Sedbergh Courses team are already working with the head coaches to add an extra layer of excellence to the programme. Rugby with John Fletcher & Russell Earnshaw (For Ages 10-15)
We are immensely proud that the Magic Academy (John and Russell) have once again partnered with Sedbergh Courses to inspire the next generation of young rugby players.

PERFORMANCE RUGBY WITH BRYAN REDPATH Years 10 & 11
Bryan has one of the most experienced rugby brains on the planet. A firm believer that we need to encourage and develop both character and skill sets, the senior children on Sedbergh Courses are in for a real treat.

Cricket with Martin Speight (For Ages 10-15)
Culture in Cricket, front foot batting, defence, drive and pull, Spin and pace bowling, wicketkeeping, power hitting, catching skills and creativity are all elements worked on throughout the course.

Hockey with BECKIE MIDDLETONn (For Ages 10-15)
Be Brave, Do the Loco Motion, Lets get Uglee and The Pro League are all themes throughout the week focussing on the development of Defensive Principles, Moving the Ball, Goal Scoring and Team Choice – Scenario Solving.

CRICKET WITH MARTIN SPEIGHT (Ages 9 -15)
During his time at Sedbergh, Martin has coached teams to 11 appearances in national finals and he continues to produce county and international players currently representing England, Scotland Ladies, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria.

Buckswood played a combined Sussex Downs, Lewes and Plumpton side in three fifteen-minute thirds, with Buckswood winning one, drawing one and losing one.
The match was a credit to both sides' enthusiasm to throw the ball around and play positive rugby. Buckswood were the smaller team and used their pace and handling skills intelligently to create space and find gaps, whilst the opposition effectively employed their forwards to create holes.
