The Buckswood Football Academy
The Buckswood Academic Football Academy runs alongside regular GCSE (including the 1-year course), A Level and IB study programmes offered by the school. Buckswood School places a strong emphasis on structure, respect, discipline and honesty within its multi-national community and this is mirrored across the Football Academy.
Wherever you want to go in the next stage in your development, Buckswood will help you in your efforts to get there. If you’re good enough for professional football, we can open the doors for you. But, no matter what your football level is, we will also make sure you achieve your full academic potential – the two goals are not exclusive.
FA Coaching Badge / Referees Badge Every Academy Player has the opportunity to pass their Level 1 FA Coaching Award. This enhances the students knowledge of the game and more importantly gives the students the confidence to become stronger and more knowledgeable players. For those who prefer to be in charge you can also take your initial Referees Badge and see things from a different perspective.

The Buckswood Golf Academy
Golf and business have been inextricably linked for more than a century. Our philosophy is that if you can maximize their performance then the results will take care of themselves. So our package is tailored to suit each player’s abilities. The player receives an in-depth personal analysis followed by a individual Academy improvement plan devised by our Golf Academy performance programme team.
Our Golf Facility is the Beauport Park Golf Club. It lies in the heart of the beautiful East Sussex countryside, offering a stunning and challenging 18-hole course. Beauport Park GC also has a flood-lit driving range, par 3 course, putting and chipping area with a club house to recuperate in after the round.
The students will receive coaching throughout the week by the BCA team, supported by the PGA members at Beauport Park Golf Club. Through the aid of technical golfing analysis systems, the aim is to develop and surpass their individual training goals.

Equestrian Academy at Buckswood School
As part of our plans to offer Buckswood students as wide a range of activities and sports as possible on our beautiful 30 acre campus, we have a Riding centre. The centre has stables, tack room and hayloft and a very impressive sand school or arena. We have 6 horses for both novice and more experienced riders.
Those students having riding instruction are also offered the chance to follow Equine Studies classes leading to the various levels of certification offered by the BHS. As part of our riding programme students are encouraged to accept a certain responsibility in the welfare of the horses the ride, in terms of feeding, cleaning and grooming.

Sports Facilities at Buckswood
From the beginner to the international champion, the sporting facilities at Buckswood are open to everyone on the campus to stay fit and healthy, after all a healthy body helps to keep a healthy mind!
The Buckswood campus is continually evolving and over the past few years the campus has seen the addition of a £ 200k professional gym, a yacht and a woodland activity centre. Plans are in place to install a new swimming pool complex and 4G Astroturf over the next two years.
Every Buckswoodian takes part in sporting activities and so our facilities are available to use all year, whatever the weather!
