Get ready for the 2021 Medicine camps in Cambridge on July 31st (UK)

Students age 15 to 17 who are thinking of studying medicine or medical related subject areas in the UK, Canada or your home country? Our intensive Get ready for Medicine camps in Cambridge (UK) is the perfect choices for summer. You will gain valuable experience and knowledge of studying medicine. 40 hours of inspirational and practical learning combined with stimulating trips and activities. There will be guidance by experienced and real medical students in their second or third year of medical school. 

What is on offer?

We offer clinical workshops with doctor, consultants and specialists and biology and chemistry practicals including a heart dissection. Of course a First Aid course leading to a qualification as well as visits to a medical institutions such as hospitals, GPs and medical research facilities. You learn about medical ethics and clinical scenarios and how to develop a personal statement and interview practice. We will discuss  hot topics such as antibiotic resistance, ethics and the law, teach you the basics of anatomy, physiology and pathology of organ systems, and preparation for UCAT and BMAT for the UK.

Excursions and activities

Apart from the exciting learning, students will have plenty of opportunities to get to know the beauties of their chosen location. Below are just some of the outings they can explore: In Cambridge, Warwick castle, Portsmouth, London Eye, Shard skyscraper, Kew Gardens, Olympic Stadium.
