Glasgow School of English was established in 1997 and is one of three Scottish owned, family run schools. The other two are Global School of English - Edinburgh and Hamilton School of English - Edinburgh.
Our General English classes are ideal for anyone who wants to improve their all-round communication skills. Classes focus on the practical needs of both short-term and long-term visitors to the UK. General English can be studied on a full-time or part-time basis.
Glasgow School of English is right in the heart of the city centre. It’s just a two-minute walk from the major shopping and entertainment areas of Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street. There is a huge range of places to eat and drink within minutes of the school, with something for all diets and budgets.

Buckswood played a combined Sussex Downs, Lewes and Plumpton side in three fifteen-minute thirds, with Buckswood winning one, drawing one and losing one.
The match was a credit to both sides' enthusiasm to throw the ball around and play positive rugby. Buckswood were the smaller team and used their pace and handling skills intelligently to create space and find gaps, whilst the opposition effectively employed their forwards to create holes.
